North End resident
Christine (Guarino) Barrasso of Boston’s North End died on April 1. She was 96 years old.
Mrs. Barrasso loved having her family around, especially during the holidays. She will be sadly missed by everyone. Her family wants to thank her nephew Joe Como, his wife, Linda, and their two children for all their help.
Born in Boston on December 2, 1913 to the late Giuseppe and Concetta Guarino, she is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Pasquale (Pat) Barrasso, of Boston’s North End; her daughters, Elaine O’Brien and her husband, John, of Feeding Hills, MA, and Patricia Hogan and her husband, James, of Lynn; two grandchildren, Tara O’Brien of Ludlow, MA and John O’Brien III and his wife, Gretchen, of Hampton Falls, NH. She was the sister of the late Tony, Lawrence, Virigillo, Freddie and Grace Como.
Her Funeral will be held from the Boston Harborside Home of JS Waterman & Sons-Langone, 580 Commercial St, Boston on Wednesday, April 7, at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Leonard’s Church, Hanover Street, Boston at 9:45 a.m. The family will accept visitors from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Tuesday. Janet (Biasiucci) Raineri, formerly of Lynn and East Boston, died on March 27.
She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Dena (Pepi) Biasiucci; mother of the late Donald Raineri and Dena DiPrizio; sister of Donald and the late Augustine and John Biasiucci; grandmother of Kelly Massey, Donna Tulak and Lisa Raineri. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Grayce I. (Dwinell) Harwood of Revere, formerly of Lynn, died on March 29. She was 99 years old.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred F. Harwood, loving mother of Barbara K. and her late husband, Thomas M. Bradley Jr. of Revere, Alfred F. Harwood, Jr. and his companion, Donna Hill of Salem, NH, and Joan C. and her husband, Robert C. Ballum, of Florida, cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren an sister of the late Charles, Chester and Mabelle Dwinell, and Lois O’Connell.
