James Mambuca

Member of American Legion and former Scout Master

James L. “Jim” Mambuca of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on December 24.

A member of American Legion Post 65, he was a former Scout Master for many years.

He was the beloved husband of Marilyn E (Bellissimo) Mambuca;  devoted father of Anthony James Mambuca of Lynn and Julie Anne Downey of Malden; loving son of Rose(D’Amore) and the late Dominic Mambuca of East Boston; dear brother of Janice Lyons of East Boston and Judith Raye of North Andover; cherished grandfather of Jillian, Jared and Jianna Downey, Nicholas Mambuca and Jaidan Downey.

Klymore Winoski

Former President of Chapter 56 PLAV Auxiliary

Klymore K. (Cass) Winoski of Lynn died in a local nursing home after a brief illness on December 20. She was 91 years old.

Born in Lynn, the daughter of the late William and Irene (Cooper) Cass, she was the wife of the late Chester M. Wonoski. She was educated in the Lynn Public School System and was a fashion coordinator for the Raymond Department Store. She was a member and former president of the Polish Legion American Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 56 and also a member of St. Michael’s Retirees and the YMCA Retirees.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan I. and her husband, Anthony deFilippo, of Delray Beach, Florida and Laura E. and her husband, John M. Walsh Sr., of Lynn; beloved grandmother of Anthony, Michael and Gina DeFilippo and Lisa Day, Jay and his wife, Jill Walsh, Joshua Walsh, Susann J. Sullivan and Lauren N. Pelusi and the late Kimberly J. Pelusi. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joanne J. Pelusi, Winifred Fox and Richard Cass.

Funeral arrangements were by the Nadworny Funeral Home, Lynn. Cremation was at Harmony Grove Crematory in Salem. Burial was in the World War II lot in Pine Grove Cemetery with her husband, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Healing Abuse Working for Change, 27 Congress St., Salem, MA 01970.
