Lynn Fire Lieutenant David Legere received a citation from Lynn Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy in
recognition of his outstanding volunteer service ten years ago at Ground Zero. Legere participated in September 11, 2001 remembrance events in New York City this past weekend. Shown at the ceremony honoring Legere at Lynn City Hall last Thursday are American Legion Post Commander Arthur Salkins, George Fitzhenry, Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy, Lt. David Legere, and Lynn Veterans Agent Michael Sweeney.
