League MVP P.J. Dorsey rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns to lead the offense for the Bulldogs. Quarterback Jermaine Kelly threw two touchdown passes before leaving the game with a knee injury. Malcolm Brown Simpson (2 TD receptions) replaced Kelly and was very effective at the controls of the Bulldogs’ offense.
But it was defense that ruled the day, according to head coach Peter Holey, who singled out defensive coordinator Greg Brotherton for having his crew fired up and well prepared to contain the Classical attack.
“Greg Brotherton did a great job with the defense,” said Holey.
Dorsey was immense at linebacker. Also excelling for the Bulldogs were Michael Dwyer, Jeremy Lessard, Chris Tinkham, Javon Brown Simpson, Malcolm Brown Simpson, Christopher Lessard, Josh Mishel, Cheyenne Sanchez, and Jemerson Flores.
