Member of St Michael’s Parish and Many Organizations
Genevieve T. (Kocialka) Marzec died at home on May 29 surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old.
She was born in Salem the daughter of the late Konstanty and Maryanna (Nicgorska) Kocialka and the wife of the late Joseph T. Marzec who died in 2005 and with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Parish and its Holy Rosary Sodality, St. Michael’s PHA Lodge 630, the Retirees Club and its Bowling League and was also a member of the GE IUE Bowling League.
She is survived by three daughters: Theresa A. and her late husband, Vincent Serino of Saugus, Constance M. Boyle of St. Petersburg, Florida and Janet M. and her husband, Jon Polakiewicz of Salem; one son, Michael J. and his wife, Mary Jo Marzec of Sunland, California and one sister, Anna Jaglowski of Salem. She was the beloved grandmother of Anthony, Vincent and his wife, Julie, Dean, Beth Serino, Matthew, Benjamin and his wife, Leititiz and Erin Boyle, Christopher and Jonathan Polakiewicz, Catherine and her husband, Andrew Forde and also by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank, Sigmund, Charles Kocialka, Sophie Witkowski, Jane Kawczynska and Stella Bozek.
Funeral arrangements were by the Nadworny Funeral Home, Lynn. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Lifelong Lynn Resident
Arthur Suback, a lifelong resident of Lynn and a resident of Caggiano Towers, died suddenly on June 1.
Born in Lynn, the son of the late Albert J. and Anna (Kavalis) Subak, he was the brother of Carol A. Bryan of Swampscott and the uncle of Julie Bryan of Lynn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Avenue, Lynn today, Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral will be private. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
