Frances T. Delaney of Nahant died on July 2. She was 88 years old.
She was the sister of the late George T. Delaney, John D. Delaney, William F. Delaney, Anna G. Delaney, and Mary Rose Delaney; aunt of Cecile Delaney of Nahant, John Delaney of Nahant and Conway, NH, David Delaney of Salem, Kevin Delaney of Hanson, Brian Delaney of Georgetown, and Paul Delaney of Nahant. She also leaves many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. At the request of the family, visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Gerard Campanelli
Manager of the Hotel Osmund
Gerard A. Campanelli, a 30-year resident of Lynn, died suddenly in Haverhill on July 3. He was 61 years old.
He was employed as the manager of the Hotel Osmund in Lynn and a sports fisherman who played scrabble and handball.
Born in Manhattan, NY, the son of Matrilda (Mosquera) and the late Joseph Curro, he was the husband of Kim (Sciacca) Campanelli with whom he shared 30 years of marriage; the father of Joseph Campanelli of Lynn and Sciacca of Glendale, NY; brother of Joseph Curro of Colorado and Andrew Curro and Christine Vohrer, both of New York. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

John Duffy
Former Head of Lynn Electrical Department, Owner of Duffy Electrical
John T. Duffy of Lynn died at a local nursing home on July 6 after a brief illness. He was 79 years old.
Born in Lynn, the son of the late John G. and Helen T. (Talbot) Duffy, he was educated in the Lynn School System and started his own business, Duffy Electrical, in 1949. He was the head of the Electrical Department for the City of Lynn from 1991 to 2007 and then returned to Duffy Electrical. A social member of the Knights of Columbus, he was also a member of the Franco American AmVets and the Order of Hibernians.
He is survived by three sons: Stephen J. and his wife, Mary, John F. and Daniel Duffy, all of Lynn; the beloved grandfather of Andrew, Brendan, Stephen, Dylan, Amy, Nicole, Jodi and John Duffy; brother of Arthur Duffy of Barnstable, NH and he also leaves his dear friend, Donna Comeau.
