Richard Guyer

Worked at GE of Lynn as a Machinist

Richard D. Guyer of Revere died unexpectedly at home on May 26. He was 73 years old.

A long time machinist at GE Lynn and a US Army veteran of Vietnam, he was born in Laconia, NH and was the beloved husband of the late Lois Zuhna; devoted father of Patricia Watkins and her husband, Thomas and Joseph Stretch,  all of Revere and Michael Stretch of Bridgewater; dear brother of Patricia Sevigny and Donald Guyer and is also survived by four loving grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on June 3 in the First Parish Cemetery, Center Street, Saugus. Julianna  ‘Julia’ Cwalina

Julianna “Julia” M. Cwalina of Lynn died suddenly on May 25 at Union Hospital. She was 91 years old.

Born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen “Popkowski” Cwalina, she was educated in the Lynn School System. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish and worked as a clerk at the General Electric Company for 35 years before her retirement.

She was the beloved aunt of Lesley A. and her husband, James Finocchio of Peabody and Philip Litch, Jr., of Lynn; the beloved great aunt of Tiffany and her husband, James Kollias of Topsfield, Steffany Litch Williams and her husband, Brian, Philip Litch, III of Lynn and Bryan and Marc Finocchio of Peabody. She was also the aunt of the late Sandra Litch and the sister of the late Stefan, Henry P., William L. Cwalina, Jennie Szpakowski and Helen Belinski.

A Memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on June 1 with arrangements by the Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Avenue, Lynn. For guest book: NadwornyFuneralHome.com.
