The race for the Lynn Mayor’s position between Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and Council President Tim Phelan is generating a lot of conversation in every corner of the city.
The debates being held this week and the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce Mayoral Forum set for October 18 at the Porthole Restaurant are certainly campaign events that Lynn voters will be watching closely as Election Day (November 5) approaches.
Lynn has always been a community that has loved its politics and turned out for city elections and we hope that residents will stay informed and ultimately head to the polls on Election Day to make the important decision of whom will have the high honor of being chief executive of this great city for the next four years.
