The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, under the direction of president and CEO Leslie Gould, does an outstanding job hosting its regular breakfast meetings and guest speakers – and its recent Centennial Celebration at the Lynn Museum was an enjoyable evening of food, musical entertainment, and socializing for members and guests.
But the LACC Mayoral Forum on October 18 featuring Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and City Council President Timothy Phelan certainly looms as a tremendously exciting event as the two candidates appear before what will likely be a sold-out breakfast just more than two weeks before the city election on Nov. 5.
The LACC Government Affairs Committee will compose the questions based on the input it receives from LACC members so there should be a number of important issues covered that relate to the business community.
The cost to attend the breakfast is $25 and includes a full breakfast buffet. There are still some seats available for the event that will be held at the Porthole Restaurant.
