Joyce Halopoff

Lynn Trucking Company Accountant

Joyce M. Halopoff of Salem, formerly of Chelsea, died on November 12. She was 60 years old.

A longtime Chelsea resident and graduate of the Shurtleff School and Chelsea High School, Joyce passed away at her sister’s home where she had been receiving supportive care since being diagnosed with lung cancer in March of this year. A faithful and avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, she enjoyed spending time at both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun and, until her health made her unable to work, she worked as a accountant for ADCOO, Inc. a transportation and distribution trucking company in Lynn.

She was the devoted mother of Keven Halopoff and his fiancee, Paige Doherty of Salem; long time companion of Maribeth Reagan of Salem; loving daughter of Anthony Citro of Revere and the late Jeanette (Tracia) Citro; dear sister of Donna Tobin and her husband, Fred of Peabody, Fr. Anthony Citro of Michigan and Thomas Citro and his wife, Elaine of Saugus; former wife of Michael Halopoff of California; cherished aunt of Renee Russo of Lynn, Jason Coelynn of Lynnfield and Erica Citro of Saugus and great aunt of Brianna and Anthony Russo.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to  the Smith Funeral Home,  Chelsea. A  Graveside Service was held in Woodlawn Cemetery,  Everett.
