Florence Tomczykowski

Florence J. (Kolodziej) Tomczykowski of Lynn died July 4 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers after a long illness.
Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Pacewicz) Kolodziej and loving wife of Henry Tomczykowski with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1948. Florence was employed by the City of Lynn School Department as a secretary retiring in 1994. She was a member of Local 1736 Lynn Retirees Organization, Lynn Classical Alumni and Friends and Polish Legion American Veterans Chapter 56 Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Carol White of Lynn; her sons, Frank Tomczykowski of Derry, NH, David Tomczykowski and his wife, Barbara of Wakefield, son-in Law Charles White of Lynn: beloved grandchildren: Hilary, Alison, Andrew White, Christopher and Daniel Connor; sisters in law: Marjorie Kolodziej and Mary Ostrowski, both of Lynn, several cousins nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Kolodziej.
