Warren Tolman has what it takes

As a resident of Lynn, a voter, and with experience in public policy, I would like to express my strong support for Warren Tolman for Attorney General. It is unfortunate that we live in a society where countless murders and crimes involve guns. I know that Warren Tolman will proudly stand up against the NRA and others to mandate that guns be equipped with smart gun technology. This technology was developed in Massachusetts and is available in Europe but not in the US. This technology includes fingerprint trigger locks, which prevents anyone other than the gun’s owner from pulling the trigger. In a technology rich society, this advanced safety mechanism should be able to sweep across the country and hopefully save lives. Warren Tolman knows the dangers of not acting on gun violence and will do everything in his power to make Massachusetts a safer place to live.
Warren has the experience to tackle the NRA and succeed. While Warren Tolman was a legislator on Beacon Hill, he sponsored the 1998 Assault Weapons Ban. This legislation banned the sale of assault weapons in Massachusetts. With Warren’s legislative and legal experience I know he has what it takes to use the Attorney General’s office to reduce gun violence, implement new legislation, and improve on existing gun regulations in the Commonwealth. For these reasons, I strongly support Warren Tolman for Attorney General.
