Hobart College sophomore cornerback Todd Collier was named the Liberty League Football Defensive Performer of the Week today by the conference office. The Statesmen, who defeated Endicott College 28-18 on Saturday, remained No. 12 in the D3football.com Top 25 for the second week in a row.
Collier shared game-high honors with 10 tackles against the Gulls. He also recorded three pass breakups, forced a fumble, and had a tackle for loss. The Statesmen defense limited the Gulls to 228 yards of total offense, including a mere 7 yards rushing.
