Marshall Middle School Principal Molly Cohen is right on the mark when she says on the the Lynn Public School Web site: The 1,100 students who attend Thurgood Marshall will now have access to state of the art facilities and a beautiful environment, which supports higher learning and leads to greater academic achievement.
Congratulations to Lynn Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy, Supt. of Schools Dr. Catherine Latham, the Lynn School Committee, the Lynn City Council and the other city officials and school parents who helped bring this great new school building to our city.
This is an exciting time for the city and its school community.
