I Endorses DiZoglio for State Auditor
To the Editor,
This year’s Primary Election is on Tuesday, September 6th, the day after Labor Day. In the race for State Auditor, we have a unique opportunity to vote for an intelligent, fearless and determined woman who will hold state government accountable. Her name is Diana DiZoglio.
I have gotten to know Diana over these past few years through her work as an elected official and through friends and family in the Merrimack Valley, where she serves as a State Senator representing the 1st Essex District. Diana stands up for working families like ours here in Lynn. She has supported efforts to bring needed resources to our area. Having worked on the state budget for the last 10 years, she knows exactly where increased accountability and transparency is needed across all departments and agencies in the Commonwealth.
Diana’s educational background, legislative policy and lived experience are exactly what we need in the Auditor’s Office.
Local families, like ours, are working hard to keep up with the rising cost of living and Diana knows what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck. Born to a 17-year-old single mom, she experienced first-hand the disproportionate impacts of unfair policies on underserved communities. She knows how important it is to use our hard-earned tax dollars wisely and efficiently and there is too much at stake to think small. We need bold change and an Auditor who is unafraid to challenge the status quo. She is someone I trust and has earned my support.
Diana will be the People’s Auditor.
