Mayor Edward Chip Clancy will apparently be filing with the city for a recount, according to those close to the mayor.
“Signatures are already being gathered to complete the recount request process,” said a source.
Clancy has ten days from the election to officially file for a recount with the city clerk’s office.
An official announcement is expected from the mayor this week.
