Dawn Blanchette, 51

Mixologist

Dawn A. Blanchette, a 25-year resident of Charlestown, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly at home on November 7. She was 51 years old.

Born in Florida, the daughter of Linda (Pitts) Farnham of Lynn, she was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and was employed as a mixologist in several local area restaurants.

She leaves her children, John Flaherty and Jillyan Flaherty, both of Charlestown; her granddaughter, Dezorae Mendez; her siblings, Scott Farnham, Karen Fader and Tracy Maynard and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Wednesday at 11 a.m. A visitation period preceding the service will be from 10 to 11 a.m. For online guestbook, please visit www.cuffemcginn.com

 

Anetta Antinick

Chelsea resident

Anetta V. (Rosa) Antinick, a lifelong resident of Chelsea, died after a long illness on November 10 at the Everett Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she has been receiving supportive care for the past nine weeks.

Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Saltzman) Rosa. She was raised in Chelsea, attended local schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. She dedicated her life to home and family.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Antinick; the devoted mother of John W. Antinick and his wife, Leah, of Everett, Thomas Antinick and his wife, Blanche, of Lynn, Patricia White and her husband, Rodney, of Scottsdale AZ, Stephen Antinick and his wife, Leslie, of Cheyenne WY, Michael Antinick and his wife, Marika, of Haiti and Paul Antinick of Somerville. She was the dear sister of Marie Stephens of Maryland and is also survived by six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Frank A. Welsh & Son’s Funeral Home, Chelsea. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Donations in her memory to St. Rose School in Chelsea would be appreciated.

 

Marie ‘Mim’ Mitchell, 62

Of Lynn, formerly of Charlestown

Marie L. “Mim” Mitchell of Lynn, formerly of Charlestown, died on November 12 in Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers after a brief illness. She was 62 years old.

The wife of Robert Mitchell, with whom she spent 42 years of marriage, she was born and educated in Boston, daughter of Priscilla (Bingham) Kenyon of Charlestown and the late Percy Kenyon.

She has been a resident of Lynn for the past 16 years, previously residing in Everett and Charlestown. She was employed at Johnny Foodmaster in Charlestown and Medford for several years and enjoyed television and reading, but especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren

In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters, Jannine Hairston and her husband, Michael, of Melrose and Sandra Olivieri and her husband, Marc, of Malden; two brothers, Roger Chesebrough and his wife, Gloria, of Charlestown and Michael Kenyon and his wife, Kelley, of Everett; one sister, Marlene Cunningham, and her husband, William, of Medford; four grandchildren, Kristopher Mitchell, Patrick Seward, Lauren Hairston, and Elora Rose Olivieri, and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, today, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn. Donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923

 

Michael DeMeo

Saugus resident

Michael R. DeMeo died in Saugus on November 10.

He was the devoted father of Jessica, Lauren and Alexandria; beloved son of Dennis and Marie DeMeo of Lynn; brother of Maria of Revere; childhood friend and nephew of Christopher Curcio.

Funeral arrangements were by the Magrath Funeral Home, East Boston.
