Comedy Night to Benefit NLG and Autism Speaks

Martha Hhalloran and her big sister, Kathryn, on move-in day at Villanova University.

The 5th annual Comedy Night to benefit Nashoba Learning Group and Autism Speaks will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Montvale Plaza in Stoneham. Dinner at 6, followed by an All-Star comedy show again hosted by the incomparable Don Gavin. There will be silent and live auctions and raffles.

Tickets are (still) $50  — name something else that hasn’t gone up in five years!

To reserve tickets:

mail check to: 119 Nells Pond Road, Lynn, MA 01904

e-mail – [email protected] or [email protected]

call – 617-872-0384

We would welcome donation of auction and raffle items.

The Halloran family of Lynn  is very grateful for all who have supported this event in the last four years. We have raised a total of almost $30,000.

This year’s fundraiser is especially important. Nashoba Learning Group – the excellent school which Martha Halloran attends – is in the midst of a capital campaign to support a new Adult Program that will launch early next year. This program will provide critical supports and services for those students who “age out” of school services at age 22.  We are hoping to make a$10,000 donation (at least) to the campaign with proceeds from the comedy night. So, if you’re into goal-setting there you go.

Paul and Julie Halloran are looking forward to another great night and we hope you can join them.

Attendance at the event has increased every year, but there is plenty of room for more.
