Girls Inc.: 70 Years of Inspiring Girls and Young Women

We congratulate Girls Inc., an outstanding Lynn organization, for “70 years of inspiring girls and to be strong, smart and bold.”

The Lynn Journal was invited to attend the 25th Annual Celebration Luncheon on April 11 and we had the opportunity to learn more about the great things Girls Inc. is doing for girls and young women in our community.

This excellently run organization, chaired by board president Annalisa Di Palma and led in its daily operations by executive director Deb Ansourlian, has provided thousands of Lynn girls with a safe and productive environment in which they can develop their talents, begin to pursue their dreams, and ultimately succeed in their future careers.

It was great to hear about the suerb work of Kimberly Luck, the volunteer coordinator at Girls Inc., who had 266 volunteers assist the organization in the past year, many of whom were in attendance at the luncheon. To those volunteers, we say, “thank you” for all the goodwill and service you have brought to our community.

Any great organization must have a capable and energetic leader dedicated to its mission and Deb Ansourlian has certainly been the motivating force for her professional staff.

We wish Girls Inc. many more years of outstanding service in our community.
