Congratulations, Rob O’Leary On Being Named Saugus High AD

Congratulations to Rob O’Leary on his appointment as director of athletics at Saugus High School.

It’s a return home for the 36-year-old O’Leary, who grew up in the town, played youth sports there, and attended Saugus High School. He went on to prep school and then played ice hockey at UConn and New England College where he led the nation’s defensemen in scoring during his junior year.

O’Leary succeeds Mike Nelson, who became the high school’s assistant principal.

Lynn coaches and athletes know Rob well from his three years as the director of athletics at Winthrop High School.

Rob will do a great job for the student-athletes of Saugus. We wish him the best of luck in his new position.
