The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Networking Committee presents “Women in Education” featuring three female powerhouses in the regional education industry.
The networking and inspirational event will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at Marian Court College from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and will highlight the professional journeys of college presidents Patricia A Gentile of North Shore Community College, Denise Hammon of Marian Court College and Patricia Maguire Meservey of, Salem State University.
“Women in education is always a hot topic with all women in business, and we wanted to know what our future female workforce is going to look like,” says LACC president/CEO Leslie Gould. “Our committee wanted to know what today’s female students are choosing for majors, what are the trends, how are these educational institutions changing to meet those needs and how these incredibly busy women balance their professional and personal lives.”
Gould adds that attendees will have time for question and answer opportunities.

The event begins at 6:00pm with registration and networking followed by the formal program from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. The cost to attend is $25 (members) and $30 (future members).
