Max Garcia-Aguilar

Retired Mechanic

Max Garcia-Aguilar of Lynn died at home on June 1 after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old.

Born in Guatemala, the son of the late Leoncio and Maria Filomena (Solis) Garcia and the husband of the late Ana M. “Molina” Garcia, he was educated in Guatemala and has lived in Lynn for the past 34 years. He was employed as a mechanic at the Radford Transportation Company for 22 years and was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish.

He is survived by his two sons: Carlos Garcia of New York and Freddy A. Molina of Haverhill; two daughters, Dora A. Garcia and Claudia E. Carredano, both of Lynn, sons in law, Luis, Jaime and Nino and a daughter in law, Donna. He was the brother of Rodolfo Solis and Linda Garcia, both of Guatemala and the loving grandfather of five grandchildren: Nicole, Erick, Jessenia, Stephanie and Ricardo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Nadworny Funeal Home, 798 Western Avenue, Lynn on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
