Theresa Lambert

Long time Clothing Industry Worker

Theresa A. (Restaino) Lambert, a lifelong resident of Revere, died on December 11.  She was 89 years old.

Theresa worked many years in the clothing industry and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America.

She was the beloved mother of Rose MacDonald and her companion, Larry Malta “retired RPD” of Revere and Ronald Lambert and his wife, Helen of Lynn; dear sister of Victor Restaino and his wife, Lee of Saugus and the late Luciano, Anthony, Carmine, Alfonzo and Stella Tini. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren, three great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Decesare) Restaino and her step mother, Eda.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation NE Chapter, 462 Boston St. Suite 1-1 Topsfield, MA 01983 or American Heart Association, 20 Speen St.,  Framingham, MA 01970. Edward F. “Buddy” Griffin

Loved music, flowers and attending Mass

Edward F. “Buddy” Griffin, a former long time resident of Revere and a patient at Life Care Center of the North Shore, died on December 12 at the Lynn Union Hospital after a long illness. He was 86 years old.

Born and raised in Boston, the family later settled in Revere where Buddy lived for more than 50 years.  He later moved to Lynn for over 20 years with his brother, John C. “Jack” Griffin, who was not just his brother but his advocate, caregiver and protector.

Buddy has been a resident at the Life Care Center of the North Shore for the past several years. He was born “Special” and looked forward to the simple things in life, such as listening to music, enjoying many varieties of flowers and above all attending Mass.  It is well known that Buddy was Fr. Rossi’s Altar Boy who celebrated Mass at Life Care Center.

He was the cherished son of the late John C. Griffin and Sara “Sadie” (Horner) Griffin and the loving brother of John C. “Jack” Griffin of Lynn; the beloved cousin of Joanne Chisholm and her husband, James, Denise and Connor Antony, Charlene Palecki and James Chisholm, all of Salem and the late Isabelle J. Geyson.

The family would like to acknowledge the tremendous care and  love displayed while Buddy was a resident at Life Care Center of the North Shore. A special acknowledgement to Joanne and her daughter, Jessica who were so helpful and loving in Buddy’s care.  Also a heartfelt thank you to the Nursing Staff, especially Catherine and Martin.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere. Interment was in Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
