Antonio Anderson has enjoyed many big moments a basketball career that has spanned from Lynn Tech (high school) to Memphis (college) to Oklahoma City (pro).
“This is whole different feeling,” said Anderson when asked by reporters about his amazing career. “As a player, it’s different than coaching. My days as a player are over. I enjoyed every bit of it, but now my job, as I think of it, I was put on this earth to help kids from where I’m from.
“This means more to me than being in the Final Four and playing in the NBA – helping kids. Being on the biggest stage in their state and their sport, and what they do and what they love, it means more to me than anything else I’ve ever done,” concluded Anderson.
