Anthony Owumi strikes out 13 in 12-2 victory

The Wyoma Little League Phillies, led by coaches Jeff Newhall, Mike Zukowski, and Tom Dobbins, are the 2025 Lynn city champions.
Anthony Owumi struck out 13 batters to lead the Phils to a 12-2 victory over the West Lynn Dodgers to wrap up the title at Kiley Park. Anthony is the younger brother of Lynn girls basketball superstar Bella Owumi.
Owumi also helped his team at the plate, going 3-for-4 and scoring three runs.
Cole Dobbins had a fabulous finale with four hits in four at-bats, driving in four runs, and scoring three runs.
Alex Newhall (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Bryson Jones (2-of-4) also contributed to the Phillies’ 16-hit attack.
The Phillies finished their championship season with a 14-1 record, having also defeated the East Lynn Braves (6-3) and Wyoma Yankees (3-0) in the City Series.
