Kenneth D. Sessler

Kenneth D. Sessler, 73, of Weymouth, died on July,12, 2025 after a long illness.
Ken was born and raised in Lynn and lived in Boston Back Bay before moving to Weymouth. He was the son of the late Carl W. Sessler Jr. and Irma E. (Schussler) Sessler. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1968. He attended UMass Amherst and completed his education at Salem State College with a master’s degree in English. For many years he worked at the U.S. Census Bureau, Boston office, as an administration specialist.
Ken enjoyed hiking, bicycling and mountain climbing. He was an avid museum goer and a fan of jazz. He was also an amateur genealogist and a history buff.
He leaves behind his long-time friend and companion, Ms. Dorothy Veronica White, and four sisters: Cheryl, Marion, Susan and Janice.
