North Shore Community College (NSCC) is seeking scholarship applicants for the 2016 NSCC Foundation Scholarship Program. Applicants should be incoming and current NSCC students, as well as NSCC graduates pursuing further education at four-year colleges or universities.
Most awards are made on the basis of financial need and academic merit, while other scholarships have additional criteria. A group of scholarships are reserved for particular academic majors. NSCC’s Alumni Association Board also provides a small number of scholarships for NSCC graduates who are going on to four-year colleges and universities.
Since 1985, the NSCC Foundation has raised and distributed over $3,000,000 to deserving students. This support enables many students to stay enrolled and continue progress toward their degrees. Typical scholarship awards range from $750-$1,500. Last year, NSCC’s Foundation awarded $152,900 in scholarships to 177 students
