33rd Moynihan Lumber North Shore Student Athlete of the Year Luncheon

The 33rd annual Moynihan Lumber North Shore Student-Athlete of the Year Luncheon was held May 29 at the Salem Country Club.

The guests enjoyed a delicious buffet luncheon followed by the awards program.

Jack Moynihan presented awards and scholarships to Athlete of the Year recipients Tyler Adamo of Lynnfield High, who will be continuing his baseball career at Columbia University, and Sydney Trout of Pentucket Regional, who will be continuing her lacrosse career at Duke University.

Massachusetts amateur golf champion and Daily Item writer Anne Marie Tobin was the recipient of the Lifetime Commitment Award (For Community).

Nelson Woodfork was the recipient of the Fan Award. Bishop Fenwick Dean of Students and assistant football coach David Dugan and former Masconomet Regional Administrative Assistant Jan Smallman were the recipients of the Lifetime Commitment Award (For Schools).

James Ayers, an alumnus of St. John’s Prep and 2023 Moynihan Student-Athlete of the Year award recipient, was the guest speaker. Ayers is a member of the Johns Hopkins University men’s lacrosse team.
