Rita A. (Garceau) Muise of Lynn died on July 28. She was 89 years old.
A homemaker who loved the Bruins, she was born in Greenville, New Hampshire and was a Lynn resident for most of her life.
She was the wife of the late Richard L. Muise and the daughter of the late Oscar and Alexina (Thibeault) Garceau. She is survived by two children, Ronald Muise of Lynn and Elizabeth Provost of Arkansas. She was the mother of the late Carol Proctor and Richard Proctor and is also survived by her grandchildren, Tina Proctor Mangos and her husband, James and Little Anastasia, Carlene, Shirley, Jeff, Jimmy, Lisa, Gina, Ricky and the late Loretta, several great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and her special pooch, Dakota.
With respect for her wishes, services will be private and under the direction of the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.

David J. DiPiano of Lynn died on July 25.
He was the beloved son of the late Roger A. and Carol E. (Miriaglia) DiPiano; devoted brother of Roger T. DiPiano of Winthrop and John G. DiPiano and his wife, Amy of Salem; cherished uncle of Michael D. DiPiano of Connecticut and Nathan E. DiPiano of Salem.
Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons~Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Everett Homemaker
C. Diana (Albano) Mayo, longtime Everett resident, died on July 21 at Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett, following a 16 month battle with lung cancer. She was 61 years old.
Born in Boston, she moved to Everett with her family when she was 10 years old. She was educated in the Everett School System and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1967. Most of her life was spent as a devoted homemaker and caregiver to her dear and loving family.
She was the wife of the late Vernon B. May who died on July 7, 2010; the devoted sister of Jerry A. Albano of Salem, NH, Deborah N. Noyes of Sandown, NH, Eileen Osman of Wakefield, John L. Noyes of Bedford and the late Nicholas A. Abano. She is also lovingly survived by Thomas J. Mayo and his wife, Donna and their children, Kelly N. and Thomas J. Mayo, all of Waterboro, Maine. She was the cherished aunt of Ashley Spear of Everett, Anthony Albano of Lynn, Robert Albano of Stoneham, Brooke Armstrong of Sandown, NH and Karen Osman of Melrose; dear niece of Diane Rossetti of New Jersey and James Rossetti of New Hampshire and the loving cousin to Denise Gallo of Gloucester and several other cousins.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals of Revere. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Remembrances may be made to: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 35148-0142.
