We want to congratulate and commend Lynn Tech head football coach Gary Sverker on his retirement from this program.
For 19 seasons, Coach Sverker put a competitive, fundamentally sound and sportsmanlike football team on the field but more importantly, he was a mentor to young men who needed his support and example to set a foundation in their lives.
Coach Sverker did a fantastic job as the leader of the Tigers program.
This year was a great way to go as the state vocational super bowl champion.
It was a fitting conclusion to a tremendous career.
We wish him the best in his retirement.
