The Bruins

The Bruins are not dead yet.

If they lose Monday night, they are nearly dead.

If they win, they remain very much alive.

The sudden death goal scored against them in the second game was an old trick done well.

Coming around from the back of the net and then reaching and straining and getting it into the net at that angle is one of the oldest hockey tricks on record. If you are a hockey player, then you’ve tried that shot dozens of times in your career because, frankly, it’s a sure thing to sneak the puck in – if you can.

We believe the Bruins will win Monday evening and even take game four.

Then it’s a horse race, again, for the Stanley Cup.
