Charlie Gallo, Democratic candidate for State Representative for the 11th Essex District in Lynn and Nahant and current Lynn School Committee member, has been endorsed by the Ironworkers Union Local 7.
“When it comes to hard work and making job creation a priority, Charlie Gallo is the best candidate in the race for State Representative for the 11th Essex District,” said Bill Hurley, Treasurer of the Ironworkers Local 7 Political Action Committee. “Charlie earned our Union’s endorsement based on his strong work ethic and his commitment to moving economic development on Lynn’s waterfront forward. This will create jobs and bring work to the community.”
Local 7’s members work on bridges, structural steel, ornamental, architectural, and miscellaneous metals and rebar throughout Massachusetts. They help shape their communities through a commitment to public service, as well as support for sound job creation and economic development policies.
“I am honored to have the endorsement and support of the Ironworkers Local 7,” said Charlie Gallo. “As State Representative, job creation, job training, and economic development will be priorities. I will focus on getting the men, women and families of Lynn, Nahant and our Commonwealth to work.”
Gallo’s record includes working with North Shore Labor Council members to bring the E-Team machine shop training program to Lynn Tech, which provides job and skills training to adults. “As State Representative, I will continue to support working families, job training, and job creation,” said Gallo
Gallo’s candidacy for State Representative was endorsed earlier this year by the Painters and Allied Trades Union District Council 35 as well as Local 2222 and Local 2321 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
